Cats getting along?

It's been about four months tomorrow since I've gotten Marshall and Wylie. Yes there's been fights and attempted fights with sounds and no verbal action, which is a good thing. But today was different. If anyone know what it means for multiple cats who don't get along, please let me know. Not too long ago, Sweet Pea woke up from her nap. She was by the kitchen and then the desk. This is the time I chose to let the cats out for a few hours. After the gate was up, I opened the door and Marshall came out to go to my room. I checked on Wylie and petted him. Afterwards, he started to back up, like he saw Sweet Pea. She wasn't at the other side of the gate. I saw Marshall come out of my room. Somehow Sweet Pea got in my room, as my mom and I was talking. Here's the thing: No sounds, no fighting. Does this mean that after four months, they're finally got along and have fought it out? I hope so, so they can get along, Marshall and Wylie to have full freedom, and my mom and I won't have to

I've found that the sooner you let them mix it up a little, the sooner they get along. My guys ostracized my little girl for about a week, and then one day Baby pounced on her and they went rolling all over the living room, and ended up sleeping on the same chair. Now they sleep together, groom each other and act like they've been friends forever. The older boy still doesn't like her, but he tolerates her as long as she doesn't try to eat his tail or something.
Reply:feline05 is right. Just leave them to it and they will be fine. Mine have always sorted themselves out and it doesn't take that long till they are all good buddies. Even tho mine all get along most of the time they can still get snarky on occasion
Reply:I found a "Feliway" plug in diffuser really helped to calm the atmosphere when my two turned viciously against each other. It releases calming pheromones that really chilled them out. It's worth a go if they are not comfortable in each others company.
Reply:They should already be getting along. When you bring a new kitty home - you gradually introduce them and keep an eye on them. Thre will be some hissing and hair rising. I have four male cats and after the first week they were all eating %26amp; sleeping together.
